Thank you so much for this today! Coming back into work after the holidays I've been excited because "busy" is familiar ground. But for the first time I made the connections between "busy" and the loss of the rituals that ground me. As I wrote to you on FB -- if you want to know how I'm doing don't ask me "how I'm doing" ask whether I've been maintaining the rituals of life that nourish me or have I put them aside for "more important" tasks?
I had put them aside. I realized I had put them aside. And then I found your post in my inbox.
A lovely and focused meditation for body, heart and mind. I like the composting of stray thoughts... everything welcome, everything nourishment, everything recycled.
Thank you for this practice, Sam. The first part is my Kundalini practice, and my walks around my neighborhood (and now along the beach as we visit Mexico) the second.
We are experiencing earthquakes here, tiny ones. My brother in California shared he had a small one yesterday, 3.7. It all reminds me of the Law of Seven, the only constant is change. Gaia is shifting. We must give back to her, and feed her with our energy.
Here they are small, and when we feel them it is like a truck slammed into the building, a noise and a shake. Nothing like what I have experienced in Oklahoma or in southern Mexico, where the solid walls wave like they are made of putty and the earth groans.
I was thinking about you all over there so much yesterday, especially California. And Jimmy Carters funeral too. He was the first American prez i remember growing up.
What a DAY. Im so glad you had some correspondences with the practice.

So so helpful. Thank you my dear friend.
This makes me very happy indeed! <3

Hearing that reflected back to me gave me a big deep sigh!

I find it so hard to imagine life including this. Your description is very evocative.

Are the earthquakes perceptible?
